An eminent archeologist, and his son, set sail on an expedition to find a lost continent. However the journey turns into most terrifying experience of their lives when a storm with the ferocity of a hurricane smashes their boat into pieces. They become separated and are washed up onto the shores of an unknown land with their life blood draining away. The boy's body is discovered by the father of Amber a young girl who unknowingly has magic in her veins and possesses the skills of the forrest people.
