A very beautiful collection of indigenous Latin American monsters filled with beautiful pencil-like illustrations and short descriptions of the monsters in question. 
This book manages to show that the idea of the monster and many of its main components are both universal but also highly specific to the countries and cultures that have created them. A highly recommended book for everyone interested both in monster studies and mythology in general.
