Furchtbare Juristen die unbewältigte Vergangenheit unserer Justiz
Discusses the nazification of the German legal profession and legal system. States that the Nazis exaggerated the number of Jews in the legal profession - they made up only 0.16% percent, rather than 3%. The law of 7 April 1933 ordered the dismissal of all non-Aryan jurists employed as civil servants. Lawyers were excluded from the Lawyers' Association and from academic institutions. Pp. 97-126 give a detailed account, illustrated by examples, of the workings of the racial laws, including the ban on mixed marriages, which was rigorously enforced.
