3/5 ⭐️ - wanted to revisit a childhood favorite. i used to love the warrior books as a kid and i was hoping they would hold up as an adult - unfortunately they really don’t. the writing is very mediocre and predictable, the characters flat and uninteresting. no interest to read further. rated it 3 stars because if i view it as a child’s book, it still has that charm and intrigue.

Rich and exciting feline fantasy world in which epic battles for territory and honour are played out.This new series will have particular appeal for fans of Brian Jacques' Redwall series.

I forgot how the writing style was in the first book and boy I am glad it improves over time.
Cringy from time to time, but then again i’m 18 and this is marketed for kids
