3.5!

First Melanie Harlow book and I absolutely enjoyed it! In major reading slump but I'm hoping the fact that I quickly read this is a sign I might start reading more again, and if so thank you book!!

Hot Daddy with Three Daughters! 💗💗 And a fling that turns into a Girlfriend 😘 I’ve always love any romance about single dad that fall in love with woman, it’s different kind of romance and love. Different from the one you find on Single man romance and this books is beautiful. Father-Daughter relationship is amazing. And The romance between Mack and Frannie is just beautiful 🌹 Highly Recommended :)

the fmc’s name is frannie… why are you as a 27 yr old named frannie???? that’s for grannies only other than that this book was cute! the fact that the mmc was 37 and still didn’t know what he wanted pissed me off like grow up!!! but whatever i still liked it

i will do a better review but i loved them so much! AND MILLIE FELICITY AND WINNIE WERE SO PRECIOUS, they were one of the best parts of this book!! mack and frannie's story was beautiful and so fun and cute and sweet and also hot and i love them <<3

This was, unfortunately, bland. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

THIS WAS SO CUTE!!! My heart is full and I have a huge smile on my face!!! Ahhh this was the perfect way to ring in the new year!

I don’t typically like romances with single parents or divorced parents, but I absolutely loved this one! Mack and Frannie were such great MCs. Their relationship starts out as friends and coworkers at Cloverleigh Farms, Frankie’s family farm and wedding venue. I think what made this work we well for me is that they already had a friendship and respect for each other. Frannie was already a part of Mack’s life without them being in a relationship. She nanny’s for his three daughters, cooks and cleans for him, and helps him out when needed. The jump from friends to lovers just made so much sense! Mack’s three girls were so cute and funny! I loved that they were Frannie and Mack’s priority. The way they drag Mack to make up with Frannie was so funny and sweet! The only slight confusion I had in this book is the girls mother? She seemed at one point like she was going to be a problem and then she just wasn’t ever mentioned again. Tropes: single dad, friends to lovers, age gap, workplace romance

This book was okay, I was not invested in them as much as I want, the pace was a little bit weird for me and a little to insta love for me. When the book started she already liked him. I would have loved to see at least flashbacks to when they met or when she started to like him. Maybe I will continue with the series, I don´t know.

I already read books written by this author. These books are very romantic, the give you a warm feeling in the heart and I love it.
The stories are the most cliches ever. Like a Nicholas Spark movie or book, without the drama or the inevitable dead.
I loved Frankie, she was cute and gave everything she had to people she loved. Her heart was huge, she was capable of loving Mack’s daughter as her own.
Mack, even when he was an asshole most of the time, I understood him. He was having a bad time being a single dad of three and his divorce. The fear that he felt of giving his love to Frankie was understandable. He was too afraid of being in love and to ignore his daughters in a moment where they were so vulnerable.
This book was easy to read, without much drama and with a lot of romance and spicy scenes, just like the books that I adore.

** spoiler alert ** 2.5 stars - the premise is great but i was not a fan of mack, like at all. the entire beginning of the book sounds like he likes frannie because of what he's missing in his life and what he wants in his life, not really because of who she is. and then the ending kind of just glossed over a bunch of stuff? he was so concerned about her parents, and then doesn't talk to them about dating their daughter or about her moving in, there's no thought process behind him changing his mind about getting married or having more kids. it just felt really rushed.

the main character was just so unlikable, i’m sorry

*3.5 ⭐️ What a wonderfully simple, yet lovely romance set in a small town about a single father falling for his chlidren’s nanny. Frannie is such a sweetheart. After having multiple open heart surgeries when she was a kid, her parents feel very protective of her. She’s now 27 and really wants to take some risks, like starting her own baking business instead of working for her parents at their farm. We really get to see her grow in confidence to really go after what she wants and I admire her so much. I also love reading about characters that bake, it makes me want to eat all the pastry. I liked Mack, but not as much as Frannie. He’s got a lot on his plate: looking after his four daughters, dealing with his flaky ex-wife, doing his job as CFO of Cloverleigh Farm and perhaps starting something with Frannie. For whatever reason I just never fully clicked with him. He’s scared to go after what he wants and uses his kids as a shield. Frannie brings out a side of him that makes him realise he can be with someone else and look after his kids. If you like just very domestic romances, this is for you. It’s very wholesome and sweet as they look out for each other and lift each other up. They are just so thoughtful about one another and are willing to compromise and put in the work as it’s not just them they have to worry about, there’s children involved. As for the rest of the characters in the book, I couldn’t tell you who they are. They’re all very one note and forgettable except for Mack’s daughters. They were adorable. As for the story itself it’s rather straight forward and well paced. If you like more than just domestic home life you won’t get it in this romance. All in all, while this was a lovely story about compromise and family life, I’m not going to be remembering much of it in a few months.

* 4.5 stars this is the best family i have ever read about but the angst made me want to throw my kindle out the window. i love these kids so much i need more of them :(

this was cute and all, but it didn't sit well with me that she did everything for him and it was barely reciprocated. i get that he's a single dad with three kids but women do it all the time, it shouldn't be any different for him, but for some reason he had the h cook for him and his kids, clean his house and nanny his kids all the time, meanwhile every time that she needed him for something important, he had an emergency with his kids and couldn't be there for her. i would have loved to see a bit more groveling from his side because of that.

Single dad with three daughters falls in love with longtime friend and nanny. A quick and easy read about the difficulties of dating someone you've know for a long time but also who you work with. How to keep children out a relationship and deciding when it's good to let them know. First read: September 2021

This was fine, but underwhelming. Not taboo or forbidden at all, very cookie cutter straightforward and reminded me of like a 90s Nora Roberts book or something.
