This is a wonderful book, and I loved the stories and the art... however, the type is so difficult to read. That's why I took a star off. Reading a book should not be such a strain on the eyes just due to the writing/ font.

The One Hundred Nights of Hero is a story about the power of stories. In specific, the power of stories about women, by women. The art is fantastic and quite distinctive, and I am always down for more stories about women loving women, and different interpretations of old stories. All in all, a beautiful book!

This is one of the most beautiful stories I’be ever encountered. I own a physical copy of Early Earth and it’s one of those things in my life that is so beautiful I’m scared to touch it?? Ya know?? But after reading this as an ebook I’m 100x more inclined to pick it up and revel in all of the connected stories and all of the love.

Essentially an f/f retelling of a thousand and one nights, the one hundred nights of hero was addictive, funny, brilliantly sarcastic and full of sassy, bad ass women and feminist tales and messages from start to finish. With artwork that was quirky, unique and incredibly inviting, a compelling plot and a brilliantly witty reflection on society and the way it treats women, I’d without recommend this as a thoroughly enjoyable read.
