I do not have words to adequately express how much I wanted to strangle multiple characters in this book. Including War for introducing such a jacked up storyline. I can’t even get into it without heavy spoilers, but I will say this: grief should be respected, for however long the grieving party needs. No one should be rushed through healing from something traumatic. I was still totally invested, but also furious at a good many of these characters. Except for Lassiter. He’s awesome.

All of the feels! Ne'er has one of the brotherhood books brought me to tears and yet here I am sitting in a puddle. My heart has regained its love and strength for Wrath. Xhex and John's struggle too soon. Lassiter is my new bestie. && my emotions will not allow to comment on Tohr and Autumn/No'One. Now to my favorite couple EVER!!!! Qhuay 4-ever.

Yup, J.R.Ward definitely is a favorite author. I simply love the no bullshit characters, the plot twisters and the intelligent humor in these books. ‘Lover Reborn’ is a brilliant continuation of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, accommodating not only Tohrment and Autumn’s recovery, but it also expands the story using the threads planted in the previous ones and doing them justice. And I thought it would be hell to solve Tohr’s torment. It was but Ward did it brilliantly. Also loved that Tohrment was a converging point to several stories. With this book we were able to follow John and Xhex problems, Wrath’s struggles, Qhuinn, Blay, Saxton and Layla’s change of events and the evolving of some new characters. J.R. Ward continues to amaze me with this writing voice that she has, it really is something very difficult to achieve and she deserves the credit.
