Slouching Towards Pakistan

Jack Foster2013
"Slouching Towards Pakistan" is a narrative over the span of 16 poems. The speaker of the narrative, a child, shows the reader a day in the life of his father, an officer in the United States military. The father-officer's job is to take orders, the orders being to issue drone strikes in the Middle East. The poems contained in "Slouching Towards Pakistan" examine this father-son relationship, the state of our ever-changing world, and the consequences of utilizing and advocating Drone Warfare.
