** spoiler alert ** I actually love the way this was written (and I'm aware I'm in a vast minority here). I liked the insight into Klein's head. My internal narrator is usually myself, but for this book, it was a gruff, gravelly Robert Mitchum-esque cat, and the writing forced him into my brain. I only gave it four stars because I didn't like the ending. I hated Dud going out like that. In my humble reader's opinion, the third act seemed a bit rushed. Like a peeper caught at the window, this book finished far too soon.
