The book itself isn't bad, I'm just not a fan of the character Michael Bennett. I'm definitely more of an Alex Cross type of girl. Overall though, this book was gripping and had a great story line. I could see the struggle between balancing his family life and his work life, which usually ends up with the work life taking over. But in the end, a hero is there and it ended much like I thought it would.

Oh the drama! This book read much faster than the first book of this series.

Poor Michael Bennett - life goes on, even if all your kids have the flu. Once again, a crazy-out there plot, but just enough believable to keep me reading. The book started off hum-drum but trying to figure out the "why" behind it all left me hanging and in the end there was a plot twist I was not expecting. The Bennett family's flu epidemic had me laughing and crying all at the same time. 

This book was in danger of a 2-star because of the far-fetched ending and I for sure thought "he can't possibly jump the shark on the 2nd book of a series" but he went there. I continue with a 3-star rating because despite all the craziness I desperately want to get to book 3 in the series.
