2.5 This book is smut with a side of plot that didn’t land. I’m still hung up on the fact that Luke abruptly ended the call with Sophie when someone (Gina) walked into the house and we never investigated. Everything with Gina was dropped too fast and without a thought at all. Luke says Gina and him have “business”, no questions from Sophie; Sophie finds out Gina is Luke’s ex-fiancé, she doesn’t care that they see each other and went on a couple dates; Gina walks into Luke’s house and work office no problem, Sophie never ponders the thought that she still has a key. The author threw the pregnancy in last minute as well as Gina’s abortion. I don’t even know how Sophie came to that conclusion after finishing the book. ALSO they said I love you without even knowing each other. There’s points where they go to dinner all the time and spend some time together but it never goes into depth on their personalities and them getting to know each other. Lots of spice if you’re into that tho

Rating : 4 Stars ★★★★★ HI BOOKLOVERS, Hahhhh!! I have never read anything from Jana Aston before. This is my first time and guess I make the right decision at the beginning of this year. The review of this book is so positive that I just need to read it. And guess what? I LOVE IT! 💙💙💙💙💙 The character was so refreshing. The vibes of Reading a none toxic hero and heroin is just so beautiful. I mean it's not that the relationship carry no drama, it has but not the drama, drama we used to read in Romances Book. For those who love Age-Gap romance and Surprise Pregnancy, I hope you enjoy this book as much as I do. Highly Recommended! ☺ xoxo. Kath!

Idk I felt like it was going really good and then it began to fall flat right up to when she basically guilted him into taking her virginity. As a doctor of that sorts I was expecting better from him, he came of as creepy sometimes.

This had a strong start but then just went off the track for me. The pacing I thought was odd, I didn’t really like Luke all that much and the family/Gina drama was aggravating. Plus the pregnancy trope at the end just had me rolling my eyes. However, this did have an addicting feel to it and I devoured it in 2 sittings so I guess I liked it? I’ve read one other novella by Jana Aston and really liked it so I think this was more the story not working for more than the author. I don’t know, in the end this was just a mediocre read. But I’m interested in reading the next installment.

Love this book!!!!!!! I am in love with these characters! This story makes me laugh just as much as it makes me swoon. The ending is beautiful!

A mixture of comedic gold and spicy gold. Ive reread this book at least three times because I honestly love it. I'm not here to say its great, but it is a super enjoyable read. Lowkey love the caddy drama because sometimes I'm a sucker for slightly cliche arguments.

3.5-4 ⭐️ I really did like this book I won’t lie it didn’t have as much violence or angst that I do love in my books but it was a sweet romance that’s definitely good to get you out of a reading rut. Definitely recommend
