The Enchanted Hacienda The perfect magic-infused romance for fans of Practical Magic and Encanto!
Reviews

Encanto fan fiction. With romance.

If this book were to be advertised as a romance book with a hint of magic then I’d probably rate it a 4.5. Instead, it started with the promise of a magical story about an enchanted garden but quickly transformed into a full romance book with a sentence here or there about magical elements. I did enjoy it but I felt a bit cheated.

A stunning story of magic, family, and romance. Emotional and hopeful. This was such a lovely story. I adore the magic system within the flowers and the family. As a romance girlie, I cannot believe I'm saying this, but I almost wish it didn't focus as much as it did on the romance 👀 But I get what the importance of it was of course. I would love to see more of this family and the world and the magic of J. C. Cervantes.

This gave off such Encanto meets When in Rome vibes. I loved the premise of this whole family having different magical powers tied to flowers. I liked watching Harlow grow into her power as she became more confident. The romance between her and Ben was fine, if a bit boring. It was easy to see how the third-act conflict would play out between them, so it wasn't that impactful. There were aspects that I loved, like the magic, the family dynamics, and the setting. The descriptions of the Estrada farm were so lush it made you want to hop on a plane to Mexico. If you don't mind a slower-paced story, I recommend checking it out.
