Ooh, well this is an interesting turn of events. So pumped to see how this run gets adapted for the show.

Okay, I see why everybody loves the Lemire run. It's wild and exciting and self-referential in the best way all while exploring some of the long-ignored complexities of the character. We love to see it

I don't even know how to put into words how I feel about that ENDING wow. Four stars

Jeff Lemire's Moon Knight is a fascinating superhero story steeped in Egyptian mythology that explores mental illness. Marc Spector's traumatic childhood experience, along with his mind getting fractured from Khonshu connecting with him, caused him to develop Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). In Lunatic Marc wakes up in an insane asylum with no powers and a lifetime's worth of medical records, and all of his identities are called into question. Can he figure out what's going on? Read this for the twist at the end. The art is fantastic and the story is wild, and a bit tragic. I'm excited about the Disney + show.

I've always been fond of philosophy of madness from Erasmus to Foucault. Moon Knight combines this philosophy with an intriguing story and great work of art. I wish we had a six stars option for this.
