And here we are. At the end. It was really good. No need to know what happens at the end, you'll read it and you'll find out. What you need to know is that it was satisfying. At least for me. So I don't really care what you think. ( fine, I care a bit. ) What I really liked throughout this whole series is the flashbacks and the storytelling on people's lives before the plague hit. I'm NOT one with patience about a story unfolding.. and 8 out of 10 times I hate when I see flashbacks. I just hate it. I hated it ever since the Lost tv show back in 2004-5 or so had so many flashbacks they decided half-way through to put in some flash-forwards. The black smoke was facepalming the whole cast just for that... ... But man, Lemire is one damn good storyteller, I loved every little thing about his story. It's not so much the mystery behind everything, it's not about what happens here and there and how interesting the story is (well that counts too but I'm making a point yo) it's about the WAY he tells you the story that I love the most. And he did a damn good job. It didn't get boring, or frustrating or whatever the whole time I was reading page after page, volume after volume. Just good stuff. Speaking of tv shows, I'd love to see this little baby on tv. That'd be great! I'm already blaming me for reading lots of crap throughout the years and not finally continuing volume 2 of sweet tooth back when I was buying them one after the other. Great story. Great unique artwork. And it may be one of my favourite Lemire titles so far. (haven't read essex county yet, will get to that.) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Wow..... Wow...... Wow. If anyone likes comics, do yourself a favor and go buy this entire series. It hits so hard. I just kept on turning the pages I literally couldn't let go of the book. I couldn't get distracted. It was just the book. The story is so heartwarming and emotional, you get so caught up with the characters. Whenever anything happens you experience the emotions rather than just reading about it. Truly incredible, one of my favorite comic series, and one that I will never forget

I'll never get over the end of this novel. Beautiful. Perfect.
