Queen Esther

Here is Jenny Koralek's third picture-book Bible story retold especially for very young readers. It tells of Queen Esther, a Jewish queen in the ancient Persian court, whose wisdom and great personal courage save the lives of her people living in the kingdom of Persia. Her bravery is still commemorated each year in the Jewish festival of Purim.
