Darcy Flynn had spent most of her life at a prestigious girl.s school in Philadelphia, first as a student then as a teacher. It is the late 1800s and Darcy.s mother has built a life for herself in the rugged West, eventually settling in Denver. When she gets word of her mother.s illness, Darcy makes arrangements to travel to Denver, hoping for a reunion with the woman she hardly knows. Unfortunately, by the time of her arrival, Darcy.s mother is no longer alive. Darcy.s sadness soon turns to shock as she learns of her inheritance. It seems her mother has been running a successful brothel for years and all the . girls. welcome Darcy with open arms, assuming the arrangement will continue as usual. But the girls aren.t the only ones hoping to embrace the beautiful young Darcy. Apparently the spirit of the recently murdered Jonathan Stuart has unfinished business on earth and he believes Darcy is just the person to help him complete it.
