Ari Makes Origami

Alex is a twenty-something expat living in Barcelona, struggling to make ends meet and dependent on financial largesses from her parents, who try to govern her life remotely. When Alex meets Ari, a chill Catalan girl who makes origami as a means to quit smoking, Alex is instantly attracted to her. Alex is confused and bewildered by this feeling, as she has never been attracted to women before. The romance blooms in spite of Alex's difficulties in accepting her own sexuality and the feeling of guilt that her parents would disapprove. Alex hides their relationship from everyone and even from her friend Sophie. But can this work out longer term?
