Meanderings on the Western Edges of Eastern Europe II: Zagreb, Istria, Split, Mostar, Dubrovnik, Istanbul, Sofia and Blagoevgrad
The second of two trips, both physical and mental, into Central Europe to teach something of Western law to local college students, in this case the rule and role of law in protecting the environment, the author's practice field for nearly 50 years. The first excursion was to Poland, described in Meanderings I. This one ends up in Bulgaria and takes a twist neither the author nor the school expected. There is, too, some sight-seeing and history, as well as freelance musings with no boundaries. s
