Kind of slow, but a fun, easy read

I didn’t really like the characters, and (view spoiler)[ did Nisha really need to go back to depending on a man? (hide spoiler)]

made me laugh out loud! I loved the surprises along the way and how I didn't like the main characters and how not liking them made me LOVE them, and myself more.

From the creative mind that brought us MBY (Me Before You) I didn't know if I truly knew where this was going at all.
MBY is one of my all time favorite reads. I was expecting heart break of the shattering variety. To be given and life swap that wasn't a total cliche was refreshing. I will admit I wasn't immediately sold/hooked into the story like i usually am but it was the equivalent to tuning into that reality show just because there was so much drama in this week's episode and you had to know how it all played out.
I think if I were to overanalyze this book and really read between the lines I could find some real life connections,
"Having healthy communication with your partner is essential in a relationship (of any kind), I have a voice speak up when I'm being mistreated, be careful of who you trust, and having a nice pair of shoes is a really good investment"

Classic Jojo Moyes, easy to read, quite predictable but cute - and got me out of my reading slump.
