So good. Cried as always

Manevi değeri var. Babamdan ilk kitap hediyem. Baya mutlu etmiş, hırslandırmıştı beni çocukken

I loved the use of flight as a metaphor.

Odd book, not sure what to think of it. Nice symbolism and parallels to human life, but unremarkable

Siddhartha, but make it seagulls.

This book is super short, but it’s a really beautiful story about learning, growth, and curiosity. I wonder what it means to fly high in our world, to learn flight for its own sake. If anything, you have to be intrepid to explore, and you have to bring your knowledge to others. I think I will come back to this book when I have time,

No excuses you will definitely have time to read this book. You won't regret it.

4,5 estrellas. Ahora entiendo por qué tanta gente ama este libro.

Pureness.

A very inspiring and powerful story, with layers of meaning you can pick and choose from... Highly recommended, whatever phase of life you're in...

Read like a children's book and the theme's/meanings were in my face. Too short, and boring.

Short and sweet :)

I read this book as a kid but honestly as I read this time I was just confused. It seems to use mixed forms of spirituality to convey a message. Honestly even though I read this as a kid I remembered nothing from then.

Highlights

If our friendship depends on things like space and time, then when we finally overcome space and time, we've destroyed our own brotherhood! But overcome space, and all we have left is Here. Overcome time, and all we have left is Now. And in the middle of Here and Now, don't you think that we might see each other once or twice?

“You know the proverb, and it's true: The gull sees farthest who flies highest. Those gulls where you came from are standing on the ground, squawking and fighting among themselves. They're a thousand miles from heaven—and you say you want to show them heaven from where they stand! Jon, they can't see their own wingtips! Stay here. Help the new gulls here, the ones who are high enough to see what you have to tell them."
