This is my first contact with this series so I can't say if this is my fav survived girl story but it was a very quick and emotional episode where the storm hits and choices must be made. The main character is quite weak and keeps doubting herself but takes action when needed. There's no depth in characters because it's a short read for younger audiences and not exhausting historical details. For older audiences, it can be good to start a dialogue about what each one would have done and makes us want to research more about the event. Thanks to Netgalley for the chance to give my honest opinion.
