nope no no no I am sorry, I hate DNFing books but this is just too ridiculous.
It is very badly written, I am at 16% and I found around 1000 cliches, and badly done as well.

The writing was completely off, there is absolutely no descriptions and it seems written by a child??? Sentences are very short and simple, and they don't flow.
I saw quite a few plot holes already, and ugh just no.

I am annoyed because the premise was so interesting and I also have the two sequels, but I just can't see myself ever continuing with this. I have my Kindle full of books that are way better and I have no intention to waste time on this.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. One hundred years ago, The Great Sickness or Cleansing wiped out everyone but the people in 3 cities. The city of Asphodel has been underground since then. They never go above ground, have never seen the sun, or anything. Now, according to prophecy, Lexan and Astrea are supposed to lead their people out of Asphodel and go above now that the Great Sickness has passed. Was the Great Sickness an act of God, or was it man-made? I enjoyed this book, although it completely left me hanging and wanting more.

I had high expectations with this book, however I was very disappointed. It was like every other young adult book these days: love triangle, angsty teenagers, two people who would change the world (of course they are in their teens), etc. Sometimes I can look past that, but also it was absolutely boring and looked like nothing happened through out all book. 
The only unique thing was, that this book was based on belief in zodiacs and their influence to people life. 
Am I going to read another book in this series ? Maybe...
