A Dystopian Novel

I really liked this book it was predictable at times, but I still thought it was a good read.

To be entirely honest, the first 70% of Recruitment were easy to guess and cliches, but I really liked the ending and I want to continue reading the series.

So I'm liking Kress, Brohn and Manthy more than I thought I would, I didn't like how they were cliche during the first part of the book but now that they have powers I guess they're cool?

I'm still confused about what exactly happened, but as each dystopian YA series does it: they have to fight their own government and stay together because of the power of friendship!

I was pleasantly surprised tho that Terk (or Treck ?) became this bionic enemy monster (tho I think we could have had so much angst if he was used as a plot point maybe in the second book, to like betray them emotionally and everything). Also, I wasn't expecting Karmine to die, so K.A Riley got me there I guess
