4/5 This book made me want to completely change my life plans and move to Alaska and become a vet. I loved how real and raw their relationship was. It's rare to see realistically portrayed couples in books. The only thing I would change is to add at least one chapter to show how their relationship looks like when they are together, because I feel that the epilogue wasn’t enough for me. I love Marie and Tyler's story, but sadly nothing beats Jonah and Calla's books. It doesn’t change the fact that I wholeheartedly recommend this series. It's a pity that the author didn't decide to continue with more new couples. It would be amazing. “I will be. It just might take me some time, but I want you here with me while I get to that place. I need you with me. I want to give you everything you want. I’m in love with you.” He leans in to press his forehead against mine, his mouth inches away. “Please don’t give up on me yet.”

Running Wild was such an interesting story and I really loved this one. I don't think I loved it like I did Simple Wild, but I truly had such a good time with this one here. It had the similar atmospheric talent that K.A. Tucker is so talented in. There is also so much heart that is centerpoint into this story. I have been wanting to read this one and I really adored this pairing. They are so well-tuned together and my heart just went out to the heroine. The hero has some torments that he is working through and I felt like this story had a sense of realism, which was highly relatable. There is something so genuine within these characters that made them seem so real to the story. This was a quick and fast read and the writing style is so easily to be engaged with, which I really respect. I just adored the way the story evolved and hopefully, we will see more of this couple in future books.
