5 stars ⭐️ “he treats you like you’re nothing to him when I’m dying to treat you like you’re everything to me?” I can even put into words how much I loved this book, I honestly just need everyone to read it because wow, no doubt one of my all-time favorite romance books.

Kandi Steiner has swept me away and off my feet for Theo and Aspen! From the start, the tension between these two, my god it is just so good, some of the best tension I’ve read in ages. It’s a books you clear your schedule for because once you start you most definitely aren’t going to want to stop. It’s unique and fun, adventurous and sexy, shocking and heart pounding. There’s not a single thing I would change about this story. From the moment Theo laid his eyes on Aspen I was instantly on his side. There was no comparison in the connection between these two, trust me when I say you dont feel a bit of empathy for Joel. Not a single bit. I didn’t even register it as a love triangle, that’s how poignant their chemistry is. Theo slowly reveals how deep his interest in Aspen goes, he’s not overly aggressive, but she knows he’s there if she wants him. He doesn’t merely want her for sex but because he knows she deserves the love he’s going to give her and it’s only a matter of time. He switches from the sweet, charming billionaire to possessive, loving and passionate with such ease it’s just downright sinful. And when Aspen’s reality starts to crumble Theo is there to hold her together. This book takes you on a journey. Aspen grows so much as a character and you’re right there with her the entire way. Every click of her camera helps her shed a layer of her old self. You feel the bustle of daily crew life, the ambience of walking the streets of stunning European towns and villages, and experience every scene caught through the lens of her camera just as she does. Close Quarters is easily my favorite read of 2021 thus far. The emotions bleed off these pages and the characters come to life as you read. This is not a story you wanna miss or a love you want to pass you by.

This book totally took the breath out of me it was so swoony!! I had no idea where it was going because I went into it blindly and I’m so glad I did bc I enjoyed the ride. Let’s be real here everyone wants a millionaire to fall in love with on a summer vacation am I right or am right? This particular millionaire did not disappoint one bit & he was book boyfriend material for sure. Our girl Aspen was so sweet & timid in the beginning I’m glad there was some character development for her so we could really see her growth throughout the story. Them together was magnificent their chemistry was so strong it’s the type you dream about having when you think about finding your person. From the moment they met it was electric & I loved what they brought out in each other. As for the plot twist well I didn’t see that shit coming from a mile away. This book definitely took me through the motions, I was frustrated, I had Fanny flutters & I got teary eyed a few times. It’s all things swoony & angsty so definitely give it a try.
