While I enjoyed reading this novelization of the movie, perhaps the most distracting is the inconsistencies with Asajj Ventress. It actually makes sense these are there, however, as the movie is before we learn anything canon about this servant of Dooku's. But overall I really liked reading Anakin's internal battle of not wanting to reveal his past, and more than heavy dislike of Jabba. Also getting inside one of the creepiest villains of my childhood was really cool, and seeing him as a father was straight up awesome.
