I can't recommend the Maze of Shadows series enough! The ending was everything I hoped it would be. I honestly had no idea the entire wild ride how all of the conflicts would get resolved, but it all wrapped up exactly the best way. I couldn't be happier with the way the story ended, though I am going to miss Abigail and Valroy and all the other characters I've grown to know and love! 

Now I can't wait to read more from Kathryn Ann Kingsley! Her writing is some of the best I've come upon in a long time. Every single moment is engaging and interesting, I just can't put her work down!

This series was so good! I am honestly sad it is over as this was one of my favorite series from the past year into this year. Valroy and Abigail are great together and I loved Abigail's strength, wit, and loyalty to herself through it all. There wasn't much heat in this book but I think it didn't need it. The story was more centered around Abigail and how she could prevent Valroy from destroying the world. It also had a side story for Anfar and Perin which I adored.

I think it ended very well and I got a good giggle from the epilogue. Hurry up and buy it if you already haven't! Looking forward to more books from Kathryn

This was the conclusion of the series and I wasn’t disappointed. I truly think the series could have been concluded in 3 rather than 4 books but I honestly can’t complain as the author used the extra word count to really dive into the characters rather than dive more into the plot with it. I will say the revelations in this book were definitely expected and unsurprising and I can’t be sure if it was supposed to be. This book did a great job in becoming a comfort read for me. Although the MMC is callous, careless, and cruel i could maintain the faith that overall he cared for his soulmate. I won’t reveal what happens but we get a happily ever after for now and it was enough.

By far my fave in the series. There wasn't a moment where I was bored. I liked seeing Anfar n Perin happy. The final battle did feel a little anticlimactic considering it was all off page, and I was hoping for the author to commit n kill either Abby or Valroy, but nonetheless I really enjoyed it. That ending especially. Seeing Abby from a humans perspective felt like a fairytale.

I don’t know how a series of such short books could be SO long winded? I really did enjoy Anfar and Perins story, wish it had more of it. But the circles Valroy and Abigail went around by the end was exhausting and unnecessary. Also, the stretching out of this story was a bit bland by the end. The ultimate conclusion/resolution could have been done more smoothly, maybe combining book 3 and 4 would have even helped to make it seem less exhausting to read. It wasn’t a bad book, but it was also just an okay read. It had its moments but that can be the only good part of book, random scattered moments that don’t even make up a third of the whole story.
