Look to the Stars "Whenever you feel sad or alone, look to the stars and I will be there for you. I'll be with you forever." - These were the last words ever spoken to Jenny by her husband, John, as he lay on his deathbed. Moments later he died in her arms. This is her story. Jenny is a lovely teenage girl from a wonderful family, who along with her best friend, Sue, has an enjoyment for life. This normally involves going to meet friends at 'Bob's Café,' along with meeting boys, socializing and having fun. Both girls have a 'Sliding Doors' moment when Jenny goes on holiday with her family to Cornwall, whilst Sue goes to Mallorca. Something happens to both girls during these holidays which will change their lives forever. Life for them will never be the same again. This is the debut novel by Wendy Howard, an author born in the North of England but who now lives in Kefalos on the beautiful Greek island of Kos, where much of this story takes place. If you love a good romance, then this could be the story for you. - Wendy's first novel, but it won't the last. This will be the first of many. UPDATE Wendy is now working on her next book. Her new novel is about Jenny and John's daughter, Laura, and how she moves to Kefalos in an attempt to recover from a bad relationship. Much of it is also based on the island of Kos and should be available towards the end of November - Just in time for Christmas.
