Kerry Hill Crafting Modernism
Supported by the local government and a group of forward-thinking Colombian architects, Medellin has forged a new image of itself based in experimental architectural projects that have become genuinely effective tools in the implementation of inclusive urban-social change. Internationally published projects such as the Espana Library by Giancarlo Mazzanti, the Orquideorama by Restrepo and Plan B, and the Temple of Ashes and Crematorium by Felipe Uribe, are examined in detail and put into the new local, social context.
