I can't believe I read this book, but alas i wanted a romance novel, i was stuck on a plane for 13 hours, and I caved for what was I thought seemed like a cringe title because I was thinking about Astarion from BG3. It was fun for what it was.

This story was witty, funny, sexy and overall so romantic! Cinnamon, the female lead, was someone I related to immensely and Fallon was dangerously sexy I had to keep myself from pausing every other page. The mix of modern grammar and dialogue with the fantasy setting was also something I haven’t seen used before, but pays off so well in a way I feel not many other authors can pull off! I’m definitely going to be anticipating the second book to come and Brie and Felix’s story <3

This book was so much fun! I loved these characters. It was funny with just the right amount of spice. I can’t wait to read all the books in this series because based on this read I know those are going to be equally as amazing!

This was so much fun - a perfect short palette cleanser for anyone looking for it. It’s light-hearted and sweet and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Bonus points for the spice and the sassiness. Honestly part of the missing last star is because I wished this was a bit longer. Can’t wait to read more in this series.

I recommend this book to people who want main characters who are absolutely not into the idea of having to save the world themselves, especially when a demon is involved. There are definitely problems with this book (just plain immature sometimes, and not in a good way), but plenty of fun and memorable moments.

This book has more plot and character development than most of the five hundred page fantasy books I’ve read recently. And it does all that while also being spicy, hilarious and being less than two hundred pages. This author clearly has magical powers. 👀😂

This was such a fun read! The interactions and romance between Cinnamon and Fallon was so fun, sweet, and snarky. Also, the level of spice was perfect for this book. I love books with demons and I really enjoyed the more comedic way this author wrote this story. 

One night a drunk Cinnamon accidentally saves a demon (Fallon) from a curse by shoving cinnamon in his face. This starts their journey of killing a false goddess and saving the rest of the demons from the curse. Their relationship grows as the journey progresses and they make several new friends and allies along the way. 

I look forward to reading more from this author and more in this series.

This is it. This is the book. THE standard. I'm not sure I can communicate how much I love this book yet, my thoughts are mostly squeals of delight. This book made me laugh and the spicey scenes were hot as fuck... Where do I sign up for my own demon??
