This is Chick-lit
Some of the hottest debates in literature today centre around the exploding popularity of the chick-lit genre: is chick-lit literature or just entertaining fluff? How well does it actually represent modern women's lives? Are |serious| female literature writers being crowded out and/or diminished by the genre's prevalence? This book argues on chick-lit's behalf, with 18 high-quality chick-lit short stories that present the best of what chick-lit has to offer and proves that being labelled chick-lit doesn't make a story or its author part of the literary underclass.
