A USA Today bestselling book. Leo is a full-length, standalone romance. Evie and Leo met in foster care as children and formed a bond of friendship. As they grew, their bond turned to love, and they vowed to make a life together when they turned 18 and were no longer a part of the system. When Leo unexpectedly gets adopted as a teen and moves to another city, he promises Evie that he will contact her as soon as he gets there and come back for her in a few short years. She never hears from him again. Now eight years later, in spite of the odds, Evie has made a life for herself. She has a job. She has friends. She's content. Then a man shows up out of the blue, claiming that her long lost love, Leo, sent him to check up on her. The attraction between them is undeniable. But, should she trust this sexy stranger? Or is he keeping a secret about what his connection to Leo is really all about and why Leo disappeared all those years ago? THIS IS A STANDALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY LEO. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

1) don't judge this book by its cover. 2) this is more of a 3.5 than a 4, but I just couldn't give it a 3.

Maybe like a 1.5 stars and a D. So I kinda went into this with high expectations but what I got was a cliché story, with stereotypical characters, without any individual spin or anything. The plot was so bland and something I could see happening from like the first page. Also the protagonist, Evie? Is fucking nuts. Allowing a stalker to follow her around, accepting stuff from him and calling herself independent, then allowing him to walk all over her and accepting every single lameass excuse he gave her, I just couldn't deal with. It's a wonder I even finished the book, and this only because it was so small. Small mercies. And the male protagonist. What the fuck was wrong with him. Also, that big reveal is so nonsensical. Everyone with even half a brain saw it coming from a mile away. This book. From the gay best friend, to the rags to boyfriend's riches is so bad, like so so bad. Clearly, there isn't a great selection in smutty NA anymore. If you want something written well with a decent plot and amazing characters, go read the Off Campus series. That's what I'll be doing to get this out of my head. Ugh.
