I feel like this series is devolving as it goes along. What started as an exciting and fresh urban fantasy story has turned into basically a sex-fest (and not in a good way). I enjoy Balthazar but whenever he is in a scene everything gets really cliche. This did answer a few questions and laid groundwork for the next books in the series but overall wasn't close to as enjoyable as the regular novels.
