3.5 The first two books in the series were more action packed, but I suspect that this is a bridge book ... where Alice got a chance to develop relationships and deal with some of her baggage ... and set the stage for some pretty sinister plots in the next book. I've really enjoyed this series -and it has been a very pleasant find in the vast Kindle Unlimited library.
