Probably should have read the Divine Comedy before cracking this one open, but it had some beautiful imagery and phrases

Well, I think this one just wasn't for me. I don't know enough about Christianity to appreciate and even recognise all the references, imigaries and meanings. Dante has of course some pretty one-liners and reminds me of the Shadowhunters, but that was about all I could personally take from this collection.

'O holy father, who for me could bear
to be down here and leave that lovely place
where, as eternally decreed, you sit,
which is that angel who, with such delight,
looks at our Queen and gazes in her eyes
so deep in love he seems to be on fire?'
