Absolution A Dark Romance Novel
Reviews

I might be going to hell for this one. Fair warning, do not take the warning on the beginning of the book lightly this is a dark read, sadistic, raw, violent, a twisted love story with sensitive subject and sometimes disturbing, this is not a book for everyone. This is my first book by L.P. Lovell and Stevie J. Cole and as much as they pushed me out of my comfort zone, hell I wasn't even in the same atmosphere with this book, I found myself wanting to know more as the book went on. I want to understand the relationship between Ezra and Evie. I wanted the reasoning for why she did what she did, and found herself seeking Absolution. Evie was taught that pain brings her closer to heaven and forgiveness. So she embraces the pain because she finds forgiveness in it. She escapes her past, and seeks out the sinners (all men) that must punish by killing them all. Until she meet Ezra and she becomes his sin and he brings her closer to the man she is seeking for revenge. Ezra is the son of a junkie whore, brought up by criminals. Raised with no morals, he was taught to induce pain, for profit. He cares for no one until he meet his little killer, he breaks his rules for her, he want her pain, he wants her blood, he wants her screams, her tears and her soul. Absolution was a highly addictive read, may not be for everyone. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. If you enjoy dark read this is the book for you.
