I wanted to read a GN and took a shot at this one. There was one factor that I didn't expect that made it much above average.

The story involves a 15-year-old, and her 33-year-old self. I expected the 33-year-old to go back in time to teach the 15-year-old, but the 15-year-old goes FORWARD in time. For a good part, the older self shows the younger self that the anger developed regarding her sexuality isn't healthy. But there is a weird twist during it which makes it -- well, magical, it is overused, but, well, I don't know what to use for this twist. It is quite impressive.

I'm afraid I had to re-read the finale because, well, to me, it was very subtle, but very powerful. I wasn't confident for both "parties" in the end, but I hope everything turns out okay for all involved. :)
