Anri Sala

Working in a range of media, including video, photography and installation, and having been born in Albania, educated in Paris and now settled in Berlin, Anri Sala represents a truly international contemporary vision. His very personal narrative practice is characterized by a blending of light, sounds and atmospheres that invokes a mesmerizing state of mind. This publication provides documentation on his film-based work but also on his photography and music. Among the works featured is the film Answer Me. The work of Anri Sala has been exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum, Bronx Museum of the Arts, UCLA Hammer Museum, Centre Pompidou, Tate Modern, Manifesta and the Venice Biennale and the 2010 Sao Paolo Biennale.
