The Ultimates, Volume 1

There is so much to love about this comic book! Nick Fury is bad-ass, Tony Stark is suave as all hell, Thor's a hippie whose either delusional or the son of Odin (and he has a massive hammer), Bruce Banner's as unstable as the nucleus of a radioactive atom, Captain America has the best line I've ever read in a comic book, there are Nazi aliens and tons more awesome stuff beside. Some people could mess up this mixture of awesome ingredients but Mark Milar and Bryan Hitch manged to mix these awesome elements of an unlikely, rather dysfunctional super team and crazy villains and make it totally bad-ass. Read it and weep! Then read it again.
