Not only was this book great, but it was super easy to write a report on without having to finish it. No teacher would read a ghost book, so that provided some advantage! But I recommend finishing it 🥳🥳

I finished this book soo fast because I just couldn't find the strenght to put in down. Really engaging, this book created an amazing eerie spooky story that gave me actual chills at some parts. Now for the story. One for sorrow follows Annie, a little girl that moves to another city, and alas, to another school, in the middle of the World War I. One girl from her class that was hated and bullied by all of her classmates chooses her to be her best friend. I want to state clearly that I found the bully in this book to be totally inacceptabile, heartbreaking and hunting, especially that certain scene at the park. However, I want to admit that although I found her pitiful for the way she was treated both at home and at school, I found Elsie to be most unlikable while she was alive, and truly hateful in death. I justiție couldn't wait to be rid of her already. I think the whole riddle play that dominated the book contributed perfectly to the book eeriness. As far as I am concerned, I liked the main character quite a lot, and although she was quite mean with Elsie, I found the later behavior to be even more inacceptabile. All in all, I think it was a very good book. I will probably read many more titles from this autor in the near future.
