Bad Monkeys
Jane Charlotte has been arrested for murder. She tells police that she is a member of a secret organization devoted to fighting evil; her division is called the Department for the Final Disposition of Irredeemable Persons—"Bad Monkeys" for short. This confession earns Jane a trip to the jail's psychiatric wing, where a doctor attempts to determine whether she is lying, crazy—or playing a different game altogether. What follows is one of the most clever and gripping novels you'll ever read.

It became increasingly bizarre towards the end, but I really enjoyed it!

A clever little mind-fuck of a book, definitely keeps you guessing until the end.

I'd been to three bookstores and couldn't settle on a book to read so I picked up this one. I figured since it was written by Ruff I was bound to enjoy it. It didn't disappoint! This is a page turning, jam packed, fairly short rollercoaster of a ride. It's exactly what I didn't know I needed. I'm convinced Matt Ruff can execute any genre. I've kept my review vague with minimal detail as this is definitely the kind of book you enjoy more when you know very little about it.

Another Matt Ruff book that I love. Absurd and fun, really smart too. A winner.
