This is the Second book in Dawson’s London Trilogy and this one did not disappoint at all. This is Gritty and eye-opening book into the Fashion Industry, and I have to say that there are some Trigger Warnings attached to this book so Definitely look them up one of the biggest is around eating disorders. This book felt real and emotional to read as well as unable to put down at times. Dawson knows how to pull you into a story and word that I had never read about! It’s one of my Favourite reads of 2023 already. 

Jana Novak has always had comments around her height, build and whilst out on a Trip to Thorpe Park she is scouted by a modelling agency and what follows is her experience inside that industry, The Highs, The Lows, and everything in-between and what a story it is. Dawson has Brought to life it all and whilst at times it’s not an easy read you won’t want to put it down. 

Nothing in this book is hidden, is censored. It is all out there, and I like it. I love that we don't get just one sided of things, but we get from every side of it. There's is no pinpoint on what or who is toxic, but it just shows you the source of the problems itself. 

During the reads you will get angry, sad, frustrated. I feel tears coming out of my eyes at times because these things are happening. This book is not just a message but an evidence or warning of such problems in the world. I read so many books that talks about such issues, but the way Juno Dawson writes it, it’s amazing!

I really enjoyed this novel about a young girl joining the model industry. Although the ending was a bit predictable and certain aspects of the book annoyed the heck out of me, all in all it was a really good book, with a very important message.
