Absolutely loved the story of Skylar and Sebastian!! This story really spoke to me as someone who deals with anxiety issues on a daily basis. I love how Sebastian may have his faults (as we all do) but still came across as a strong, desirable alpha! Well done!

Seriously. Melanie Harlow can do no wrong in my eyes. Natalie (Skylar's sister who owns the bakery) takes center stage this time. Dan is still cheating and suggests to Natalie that they "take a break" Natalie is not impressed and there will be no "break". They are done. As luck would have it, Miles has come home to his parents for a visit. Him and Natalie were the best of friends in childhood, both looking forward to each summer they could spend together. There is no denying the attraction between Natalie and Miles. After a few drinks one night, Natalie has some liquid courage and throws herself at Miles.....who declines her. Sort of. This was a beautiful story of an "almost" romance that turns into a current romance. A story of what people "think" they want, vs. what they actually want. And most importantly, a story of finding happiness in the most unexpected places. Totally loved it.

I absolutely loved the story of Jillian and Levi! It's nice to have a story where the main characters are a little older (30ish) and are still looking for love. Not everyone finds their soulmate at 23..... Jillian is established in her career as a pediatrician and Levi is an architect raising an 8 year old autistic son on his own. They literally bump into each other at Jillian's sister's wedding and quickly realize they had met before. Although immediately attracted to one another, Levi had difficulty combining his son and his personal life. I appreciated the fact that Jillian and Levi's relationship was not easy and full of realistic obstacles. Putting myself in Levi's shoes, I could understand why he felt the way he did and why he made the choices he did. It didn't make it any easier to read though! My heart broke for him! A great addition to the Nixon sisters series!

***5+ Stars*** I freakin loved Some Sort of Happy so I knew without a doubt I would love Some Sort of Crazy!! And of course I was right. This is a friends to lovers story with Natalie and Miles Haas!! It was a very fun read and I loved little parts that had Sebastian in it.

***5+ Stars*** ⭐I won an arc copy of this from the author herself. By far the best book of 2015!!!! I have never had so many emotions be stirred up inside reading from a character's pov like I have from Sebastian and Skylar. You will automatically fall in love with Sebastian from the moment you read his words. You will want to jump in the book and just hug him. His suffering from OCD is something many Americans, including myself, suffer from everyday. Some, like Sebastian struggle with it a little bit more. Outsiders look at someone like him and automatically assume he is just crazy, and that is what he went through in school. Skylar, has some of her own compulsions with her thoughts and self doubting herself. Together they help help each other and in the end have a very HEA!! This is honestly my first book by Melanie, and let's just say she knows what she is doing with her writing. Any author who can write and make you feel every emotion the characters go through, is a best selling author imo. This story, as well as Sebastian and Skylar, will forever remain in my heart!!

**5+ Stars** *I received an ARC copy of SSOL in exchange for an honest review* Once again Melanie Harlow has played with my emotions and embedded another story into my heart. Not only does she bring more sexiness with her lead characters but, she also tackles even more real life problems most of us face. Jillian Nixon is the oldest out of the Nixon sisters and last to find her one true love. But a second chance encounter at her sister's wedding with someone from her past may be the chance she needs to find him. Levi Brooks is a 30 something old single father to an amazing son, Scotty. It's not easy being a single father and when your child suffers from autism, things get even more complicated. So when he bumps into Jillian the night of the wedding, he is faced with another challenge of juggling between being a single father and sticking to his son's very strict schedule and being in a relationship. Because of his past, he is scared to let Jillian in all the way which makes it hard for them to see each other. Will Levi confront his fears and give Jillian a chance to not only love him but his son as well or will Jillian walk away? In all my years of reading, I have never found myself relating more to the hero than the heroine. As a mother with a son who suffers from ADHD, I found a lot of Levi's fears and questions if he was doing everything wrong, as my own. This is what makes Melanie's stories stand out from most others. She brings real life problems to her stories and us readers find ourselves relating to most if not all of them. She makes you feel as if she is directly in your mind and pulling every last thought and feeling you have to the surface. This in my opinion is what makes a best selling author and one who will have this reader as a fan forever.
