*May 2021 Re-read* That character death still hurts me. I think I liked this better than the first time I read it. There were still continuity issues, but things made more sense overall due to me having read everything twice. I still really adore this series. *original review* 3.75 Stars While I didn't like this concluding novel as much as the first two, it definitely had its high points. Honestly for me, where it was lacking is the open-ended-ness of it all. Also, continuity errors. A few times over the "best" way to kill the same type of Othersider would change from the last book to this one, or for some unknown reason, they wouldn't use the most obvious way to kill something. It seemed like this was just to make it feel like things were direr. I enjoyed the Trilogy as a whole and this book wasn't horrible by any means, I did really enjoy it. The series as a whole is definitely worth a read.
