After a recent visit to French Lick for a work-related team-building excursion, I stumbled upon this book while looking at the Wikipedia entry for Pluto Water. The idea that the water could be the "subject" of a novel piqued my interest enough to get the audio book from my library. Even though it was clear from the description that the story contained paranormal happenings - not my usual choice of reading - I was still interested enough to give it a go. I'm glad I did. It was a good yarn. I enjoyed the references in the beginning of the story to the places I had just seen though ultimately they were just a backdrop for a story that could have been set most anywhere. At the climax of the story I still could not see how it would resolve. All in all, it was an enjoyable read and not a waste of time. And I think I'm going to try another Koryta novel soon.
