I liked it a lot. The mystery combined with the realities of living in a small town "run by women" is interesting. (In quotes because that's more characters words than anything, but the women are definitely strong women). May I never end up with a mother in law like that! 😬 It is a serial novel/novella so it kind of ends in a "cliffhanger" style. Pretty much abruptly but it did end on the conclusion of a long arc. So you want to pick up the next one but then you aren't entirely left scratching your head. I just want to know what will happen when the shoe drops. 🤔
