PC: I look for a ship (rolls a 20)
DM: you see one
PC: I climb on board (20) and look at the people to see if any are helpful (20)
DM: they are all heroes of high level
PC: I ask them to help (20)
DM: they agree. Warning, the big bad is unstoppable and in a fortress
PC: I scan for a way in (20)
DM (sighing): the door is open and nobody stands in your way
PC: I walk in
DM: surprise there are many bad guys
PC: I swing my sword (many crits in a row)
DM: you kill them all but the big bad comes out
PC: I seeing my sword and use its p magical properties (20s on repeat)
DM: you kill them and they thank you for it because you're so good at it.... But there's a new big bad and you have to leave your whole group behind
PC: I befriend it (20)
DM: congrats...ummm, there's a new big bad and it's bigger and badder
PC: me and my new buddy kick its butt (20s on loop) and then I kill my buddy as a sign of mercy
DM: good job. Ummm, next session I'll prep more and get even drunker. Cool?
PC: deal
