Rounding Third
I was destined for stardom. From the age of seven, I was an all-star. Parents praised me, coaches worshipped me. As I got older, girls begged for me. I was Beltline's baseball God, guaranteed to put this small town on the map. Then, after one night, that future vanished. The legend was laid to rest. I gave up my scholarship. I fled from Beltline. I left the girl behind. Now, I'm back.

Received for an honest opinion. Rounding third is a solid read. Crosby Lynch is the ultimate alpha and I enjoyed him a lot. I thought the premise of the story was interesting, not something I quite understood, but I get it. The love him and Ella have, like her name, is out of a fairytale. I have to admit I was waiting for both of their 'come to Jesus' moments, and was disappointed when it didn't really happen. I think they both needed to clear the air and I don't think that happened. I think the difficult, emotional parts were bypassed in favour of romance and while it's never a bad thing, I think the story needed it. Reviewed for 2rsblog.blogspot.com
