Book 3 of the Crystal KingdomJennifer Foxray is a badass MMA fighter. When she finds herself kidnapped and brought into another dimension, her skills are an asset. Arrows whizzing past her head? No problem. She'll still kick major goblin backside. She can take care of herself and save her friends. She doesn't need a man to save her. Nope. Not even if he's hot enough to melt her resistance.Hyz is on a quest, with his trusty horse Thunder. He needs to know if the rumors of impending war are true. His plans come to halt when he comes across the most gorgeous woman on the planet, fighting off a horde of goblins. Though she can clearly hold her own, Hyz steps in to save her. That's what heroes do. His saber toothed tiger wants her for a mate and Hyz is definitely attracted to her. But she can't be his. He must wait for the woman with the glowing rock. It's a good thing Jenn doesn't do relationships, because her rock isn't glowing at the moment. Plus, she has two best friends to find and Hyz's world to save. And really who has time for tingly girl parts and feelings when there's butt to kick and a battle to destroy the evil creatures trying to take control of Crystal Kingdom?

After narrowly escaping an abduction when she was younger, Jennifer ( Jen ) has became an MMA fighter. She has no intention of ever being that vulnerable or defenceless again. But when she and her friends are sucked through a portal into a medievalesque world, she meets more weirdness than she could ever imagine. Hyz comes across Jen who was being shipped off to the Gobalus. He saves her and attemtps to return her to comparative safety. Along the way he glimpses Earth through the rapidly failing portal. What is he supposed to do with a refugee Earthling? Hyz' cat wawnts Jen as his mate but Hyz can't seem to accept that she may indeed be his mate. Along the way there are lots of misccommunications. Jen hates being treated as some defenceless damsel. But sometimes it's not Hyz treating her as weaker, just that he is hardwired to protect ANYONE. Great conclusion to the trilogy, all my loose ends were tied up.
