Kasey is keeping a lot of secrets, especially who her family are! That little bomb would not go down well with the Alphas she works with! Her dad may be trying to go legit but others are working against him. Now she also has the added worry of being attracted to one of the very alphas she is keeping at arms left. Her life is so exhausting! Brannon is a bit of an entrepreneur and knows Kasey is his mate. But he has been taking it slow as she is human and seems to be a tad...twitchy! But will he be able to separate his mate from her bad egg family or will it be a step too far for the mate link to cover? Wow, Cinderella had nothing on Kasey. Evil stepmothers, drugged teenagers and lots and lots of secrets! Great read and although there is heat filled passion there is not as much as in other books by the same author.
